2023年度第8回大会での自由研究発表者7名（学生会員対象）を候補者として、賞選考委員会において審査を行いました。その結果、研究目的が明確で、内容も新規性と有用性において優れており、今後の展開が期待できることから、下記の発表者に授賞することになりました。

この度は、研究奨励賞という身に余る賞をいただき、選考委員の皆様をはじめ学会関係者の皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。この受賞は研究初学者の私を丁寧に指導してくださった菊地かおり先生のご尽力なくしては叶わなかったと、先生に大変感謝しております。探究学習において学校図書館と司書が学習の要となる中で、子ども達が質の高い教育を受けられるよう今後も一意専心、研究に臨んでいく所存でございます。
The Award Selection Committee reviewed the 7 presentations by student members at the 8th JARIBE Annual Conference in 2023. As a result, it was decided to award the prize to the following presenter because her research purpose is clear, the contents are excellent in terms of novelty and feasibility, and future development is expected.

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the members of the selection committee and all individuals contributing to the conference for their gracious bestowal of the Research Incentive Award. I extend my sincere appreciation to Professor Kaori Kikuchi, whose diligent supervision proved invaluable to my growth as a novice researcher. Without her attentive, detailed support, this recognition would not have been attainable.
Moving forward, I am committed to maintaining a diligent work ethic in my research endeavors, with the overarching goal of ensuring that children receive a high-quality education. I firmly believe in the pivotal role that school libraries and librarians play in facilitating inquiry-based learning and am dedicated to contributing to advancements in this field.
